OUR ACTIVITIES IN THE CONSORTIUM
We will contribute to the conceptualisation of spatial transformation processes in connection with the smart cities and regions concept. We pursue an integrated approach and support the formulation of strategies for municipal change, intelligent spatial development and participatory governance. In particular, we contribute to the pilot projects.

Our contribution to the STICS project is intended to effect positive change for communities, cities and regions, particularly regarding sustainable, resilient and efficient development. The outputs are intended to provide decision-makers with the necessary support to improve the quality of life of residents in the long term.

What Are Your Expectations from the STICS Project?
The STICS project gives us the unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable spatial development in our neighbouring country, Slovakia, through an integrated approach. I look forward to contributing our many years of experience in the field of spatial planning to this international research project and we are looking forward to have a great learn experience within the STICS project.
For Whom and When Will Your Outputs Be Applicable?
Our involvement extends over the entire duration of the project and is intended to contribute expertise in integrated spatial development. I believe that our outputs will contribute to the resilience, efficiency and sustainability of communities, cities and regions.
