ABOUT
bAvenir is a European software company specializing in digital transformation, particularly by providing tools for data utilization and processing.
For municipalities, we offer an interoperable data platform and an open innovation ecosystem. We are also active in the energy sector, where we serve energy communities and cooperatives. Last but not least, we offer solutions in the areas of circular economy and building renovation.
Innovation and R&D are in our DNA—we have initiated several Horizon projects together with partners across Europe.
OUR ACTIVITIES IN THE CONSORTIUM
As part of the STICS project, bAvenir will build the backbone of an open innovation ecosystem. We’ll ensure seamless data connectivity from creation to consumption and develop tools for data sharing and governance. Our solution will support interoperability, FAIR data principles, and real data utilization. We will also create a marketplace—a kind of “innovation buffet” for mayors—enabling local governments to explore and test our solutions hands-on. For consortium members, this tool can serve as an additional commercial distribution channel, contributing to long-term sustainability beyond the project’s end.
BENEFITS OF OOUR OUTPUTS AND TARGET GROUP
The key output of the project will be the modern Interoperable platform fit for innovation ecosystem for municipalities of various sizes. Therefore the key target group are TG2 - Municipalities and their political and executive level. The output could also be interesting for ministry level public authorities which may find this usefull to support another innovation activities in existing infrastructures and pilot sites related to smart solutions.

What Are Your Expectations from the STICS Project?
Further development of our product – the interoperable data platform – and its use in innovation ecosystems is a key priority. Our ambition is to connect the platform with other national institutions that support innovation and data utilization. The ultimate goal is to foster the smart potential of Slovak municipalities and companies providing such solutions, with the prospect of exporting our know-how and products to EU countries.
For Whom and When Will Your Outputs Be Applicable?
In line with the STICS project timeline, we plan to have the first functional version of the interoperable data platform and marketplace ready by M18, which, according to the project plan, corresponds to the end of summer/beginning of autumn 2026.
